Sebastian Paliege joins the management of Sch\u00e4flein Logistics GmbH and Sch\u00e4flein Industrieservice GmbH. Thorsten Schmied has been appointed as a member of the management of Sch\u00e4flein Spedition GmbH.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am delighted that with Sebastian Paliege and Thorsten Schmied we have been able to recruit two long-standing employees from our own ranks for these responsible tasks,&#8221; says Achim Sch\u00e4flein, CEO of Sch\u00e4flein AG.<\/p>\n<p>Industrial engineering graduate Sebastian Paliege joined the company in 2007 in the e-commerce and controlling department and continued his career in the project management team in 2009. Since 2011, he has been responsible for the locations in the Mainfranken region as Regional Manager Centre. At the same time, Paliege took over the operational management of Sch\u00e4flein Logistics and was granted power of attorney for the company. In 2013, he was also appointed operational manager of Sch\u00e4flein Industrieservice. As Managing Director of Sch\u00e4flein Logistics GmbH and Sch\u00e4flein Industrieservice GmbH, he is responsible for all warehouse logistics activities of the Sch\u00e4flein Group.<\/p>\n<p>After studying industrial engineering, Thorsten Schmied began his career in logistics at GLS. In 2008, he joined the Sch\u00e4flein Group as transport manager and continued his work as national forwarding manager. From 2012 to 2016, he was responsible for the sales activities of Sch\u00e4flein Spedition as Sales Manager. In October 2016, he took over the management of the branch at the main site in R\u00f6thlein and was granted power of attorney.
