Röthlein, September 5, 2025. At the beginning of September, the last of around 60 new trainees began their careers at Schäflein. Across all locations and in the office, warehouse, truck, and workshop areas, the training team has now grown to a total of over 130 trainees—a strong sign of the company’s future viability and training quality.
For their trainee onboarding, the new team members headed to the Götz farm, right next to the logistics hub in Röthlein. There, they took part in a two-day onboarding program featuring creative challenges, teamwork, exchange, and inspiration – a successful start to their training period.
But starting a career is more than just a new chapter. Many of the young talents come straight from school – well-protected and full of expectations. For them, training is the first step into “real” life. Schäflein accompanies this transition with a holistic training concept based on three pillars: “Fit for work – Full of life – Be yourself.” This means that, in addition to professional competence, personality, everyday strength, and self-confidence are also specifically promoted. And because logistics is a people business, support from experienced colleagues also plays a central role.
